This policy explains how Telamon Box processes the personal data you provide when you sign up as a volunteer or judge through the competition website form.

1. Data controller

2. What data we process and why

We only process the data you enter in the form, each with its legal basis:

Allergies are health data and providing them is voluntary: leave the field blank if you'd rather not share it.

3. Recipients and transfers

Your data is stored in Google tools (Google Sheets / Apps Script) and with the website's hosting provider (Hetzner, in the EU). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Using Google may involve an international transfer to the USA, covered by the Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses.

4. Retention period

  • Participation data (contact, role, size, availability): up to 12 months after the event.
  • Allergies / intolerances: deleted when the event ends.
  • Email for communications: until you withdraw your consent.

5. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability at any time, as well as withdraw your consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing), by writing to telamonbox@gmail.com.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

6. Nature of the data

Providing the form data is voluntary but necessary for us to count on you as a volunteer or judge. If you don't provide it, we won't be able to manage your participation.
